Love Island fans spot ‘clue’ Gemma still has feelings for her ex Jacques – did you see it?

LOVE Island fans spotted a telltale clue that Gemma Owen still has feelings for ex-boyfriend Jacques O'Neill.

The 19-year-old, who is partnered with Luca Bish, was shell-shocked after spotting her ex on a date in the villa garden with Paige Thorne.

She immediately fled to the bedroom where she was seen applying her makeup to get ready for their reunion.

Viewers believe she wants to impress him and possibly even win him back.

One wrote on Twitter: "Lol at Gemma running to put makeup on once she realised it was Jacques."

Another pointed out: "Gemma didn’t even go talk to Luca after her chat with Jacques LMAO she don’t give AF about this man. Luca is gonna be quaking

On his second date, Jacques hinted to Afia Tonkmor at bad blood between him and Gemma.

After his arrival the other Islanders get to know Jacques, with Afia, 25, asking if his relationship with Gemma ended amicably.

He replied: "I wouldn't say so, maybe not. I'm not sure, but we'll have to find out, won't we?"

Later, Gemma confessed to still having feelings for Jacques, who she dated for eight months.

She told the girls: "It’s weird because I still look at him and I do fancy him like 100%, I look at him and I think you are fit, no question, you are fit.”

Paige, who was left single after Friday night's recoupling, agreed, adding: "Yeah, I think we all look at him and think he’s fit."

In the evening, Jacques pulled Gemma for a clear the air chat.

The flirty conversation saw him try and push Gemma's buttons, insisting he knew how to wind her up.

Speaking ahead of his arrival, Jacques said of their relationship: "I split up with my ex and then I was seeing someone else. I was concentrating so much on my rugby and then I had that injury. I think it needs to be the right person, at the right time."

Worryingly for Luca, the hunk said he's not fussed in the slightest about stepping on toes and admits to falling in love easily.
