Luca, coupled up with Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma on Love Island, began seeing YouTuber Saffron, 21, soon after the split last year.

He has recently told how they dated for a few months but it went no further.

Influencer Sophie, who went to school with Saffron and posted a pic of them and other friends on Instagram in 2018, was left devastated, having spent four years with Brighton fishmonger Luca.

In a YouTube video she said: “It just feels like I’ve kind of lost a best friend, which is f*****g horrible and it does, like, really hurt.”

Her representative said she had done nothing wrong.
