EastEnders star axed after seven months – and his exit has already aired
ARRESTED on terrorism charges, Aaron Monroe has been in prison since January, leading fans to wonder about his fate.
However, EastEnders bosses confirmed that actor Charlie Wernham has filmed his final scenes some time ago.
Many fans will be pleased to know Aaron Monroe won't be back to wreak havoc in Albert Square as they asked for him to be booted out of the show.
The character portrayed by actor Charlie Wernham was involved in the BBC One soap's far-right storyline since he made his first appearance in Walford in October.
Viewers may remember that Aaron had been part of a plot to plant a bomb in the Square during the festive season.
This was until his cabbie father Harvey (portrayed by Ross Boatman) turned him in for his racist behaviour.

Aaron was arrested and thrown behind bars in January appearing on screens sporadically and leaving fans to wonder whether he would ever be seen again.
But during its latest instalment, EastEnders confirmed that his fate had already been sealed after a harrowing prison attack.
Aaron has officially been sentenced for his crimes off-screen and has been transferred to another prison in Newcastle.
Aaron's on-screen sister Dana (Barbara Smith) broke the news to her former boyfriend Bobby Beale after receiving a phone call from her father, but details of Aaron's sentence have not been made clear.

The exit comes as a shock but has been confirmed by a soap source first mentioned by .
Charlie Wernham will not be returning to the program as he has already filmed his last scenes, meaning his most recent appearances in prison, as his on-screen father paid him a visit, were his last.
The Sun has contacted an EastEnders spokeswoman for comment.

Although Aaron won't be seen again, Charlie will definitely be back on the box as he is planning to reprise the role of Mitchell in the upcoming Bad Education reunion special.
The one-off 45-minute instalment was confirmed to air in May by actor and presenter Jack Whitehall and will air on BBC Three.
Since his unexpected exit, Charlie has also tied the knot with his long-term partner Emma Collis.
The couple walked down the aisle in April at the Gosfield Hall wedding venue in Essex and the news was confirmed by the actor's former Hollyoaks co-stars who shared snaps of the big day on social media.
Taking to Instagram in May Charlie has also teased another one of his upcoming projects.

The actor will slip into the role of a police officer in comedy horror series The Baby which is set to air on Sky Atlantic in the UK on July, 7.
Meanwhile, EastEnders continues to air from Monday to Thursday on BBC One.
