Love Island race row rumbles on as Amber and Indiyah miss out on airtime, claim fans
LOVE Island has continued to find itself embroiled in a 'race row' with fans complaining that Amber Beckford and Indiyah Polack are lacking airtime.
Viewers felt they barely got to see Amber, 24, and Indiyah, 22, during Wednesday night's show, as the storylines focused elsewhere.
The main crux of the episode involved Gemma Owen and her date with Davide Sanclimenti and a love triangle between Tasha Ghouri, Andrew Le Page and Luca Bish.
But some fans noticed that Amber and Indiyah are not being shown flirting or getting to know the guys in the villa.
One tweeted: "All I’ve been hearing is 'Gemma, Paige and Tasha'…don’t get me wrong they’re absolutely beautiful, but my heart can’t help but break a bit for Indiyah and Amber :(."
Another penned: "Petition to see more of Indiyah and Amber."

A third said: "I'm starting to think Indiyah and Amber's chats with any guys except Ikenna and Dami are getting cut, we see quick clips/moments of them with other guys but none of the actual convos."
And a fourth pleaded: "I need amber and indiya to get the clout and attention they need in that villa bro wtf…"
The Sun Online has contacted Love Island for comment.
Love Island 2022 first found itself at the centre of a race storm after the four black contestants were paired up by a public vote during the launch show.

The opening episode saw Indiyah and Ikenna Ekwonna put together as well as Amber and Dami Hope.
The other six white contestants were paired up together.
This is the first year that the coupling up process that always starts a new series has been decided by a public vote.

Previously the contestants have been allowed to pick their own partner based on what the individuals they were greeted by when they arrived in the villa.
The ITV2 show was then hit with another row after Davide sidelined Indiyah and Amber when making his decision on who to couple up with.
Davide had been given 24 hours to pick a girl but wasn't shown getting to know the only two black girls in the villa.
