Mama June ‘upsets’ daughter Pumpkin, 22, by ‘not helping’ with newborn twins as young mom juggles 4 kids ages 4 & under
MAMA June Shannon has left her daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin'" Efird upset by not helping with the young mom's newborn twins, a source exclusively told The Sun.
An insider has claimed mom of four Pumpkin, 22, is furious with her mother June for allegedly not visiting her and the babies since she first met them at the hospital in May.
As The Sun first reported, Pumpkin and her husband, Josh Efird, welcomed a girl and a boy on May 16.
The source said: "June has not been by to see Pumpkin or the babies since they've been home.
"She hasn't been to their house to check on her or try to help."
June has been living with her new husband Justin Stroud, 34, in Alabama as he deals with legal issues which currently prevent him from living out of state.
The insider said both Josh and Pumpkin are upset with The Road to Redemption star.

But a source close to June defended the 42-year-old reality matriarch, and said that she visited the babies along with her new husband Justin when they were born at the hospital via C-section.
The source also claimed June has plans to come to visit her daughter and four grandchildren soon.
Pumpkin has not responded to The Sun's request for comment.

Pumpkin has been dropping hints about how she feels about her mother on her private Facebook page.
A little over a week after she gave birth to the twins, Pumpkin posted an angry missive that appeared to take a swipe at June, 42.
"Just putting this out into the air but it’s literally up to NO ONE but YOU to make sure you have a relationship with your grandkids, niece, nephew- etc. And if you don’t, you got no one to blame but you.
"If you wanna see them, drive. If you wanna call them, call. It is not- I repeat NOT up to the PARENT to make sure you know their child.
"They are way too busy raising said child/children & already being active in their lives to worry about how active you are.
"Kids won’t miss who they don’t know. The end."
TWINS
Last week, a source close to the family claimed that Pumpkin, 22, and her Josh welcomed a baby boy and a girl by C-section on Thursday, May 19.
The insider said that the mom and her newborn babies are "happy and healthy," and all three returned home from the hospital just a few days after delivery.
"The girl weighed in at six pounds, one ounce and the boy totaled five pounds, four ounces," said the insider.
"Josh is elated that the babies are finally here."
Pumpkin delivered at a Georgia hospital which deals specifically with high-risk pregnancies, the source claimed.
Josh, 25, and Pumpkin certainly have their hands full, with son Bentley, 10 months, and daughter Ella, 4, already at home.
The couple also has temporary custody of Pumpkin's sister, Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, 16, after Mama June's substance abuse struggle.
PLENTY ON HER PLATE
In Georgia court documents first obtained by The Sun, a judge awarded sole custody of Alana, 16, to her sister Pumpkin, 22, away from their mother June, 42.
The young mother has been Alana's legal guardian since August of 2019, following their mother's downward spiral into drug addiction.
In the final order issued in April 2022, the judge wrote that Pumpkin "has had guardianship of the minor child since April 29, 2019.
"It is in the best interest of the child that the plaintiff is awarded sole custody."

The judge ordered June, 42, to pay $800 in monthly child support to Pumpkin, beginning on May 1, 2022, and to continue on the 1st of every month until Alana turns 18 years old.
Additionally, the 22-year-old mother of four will have the discretion to allow "visitation between the defendant [June] and the minor [Alana]."
