Coronation Street fans all say the same thing as Leanne Battersby realises Toyah killed Imran Habeeb

CORONATION Street fans are all saying the same thing after Leanne Battersby came to a shock realisation about sister Toyah.

The restaurant owner - who is played by actress Jane Danson in the ITV soap - has now realised that Toyah may have killed her husband Imran.

Viewers know Toyah drove at a wall at high speed in a crash that claimed Imran’s life - but she has maintained her innocence.

And tonight Leanne spent most of it shouting down anyone who even questioned whether Toyah meant to kill him.

But after Peter reminded her of Toyah’s trauma involving children, Leanne realised they could be onto something.

“It’s something Peter said before about how Toyah gets when there’s a baby involved,” she said.

“I tried to put it to the back of my mind but he’s right.

“She loses it. She can lose it. And all this with Abi and Alfie, it was such a massive deal. And then she loses Elsie in the middle of it all.

“Alfie must be a constant reminder of all she’s ever wanted and what Imran did. It’s just a mess.”

Leanne added: “What if she did it on purpose?

“To punish Imran or to harm herself, or both. I don’t know what to believe. How can I figure out what’s going on if I don’t even know where she is.”

But after a day spent lying about Toyah was - Leanne really had no idea.

However it was soon revealed that Toyah was in her own flat and not in a good state.

Surrounded by Imran and Alfie’s belongings, she was lay down sobbing hard.

And now with Leanne doubting her, fans fear she may be a danger to herself.

One posted a broken heart emoji and added: "Toyah's locked herself in the flat. #Corrie."

A second said: "Has Leanne forgotten how she behaved, after she lost Oliver? GO TO TOYAH’S FLAT!!!"
