Love Island fans slam show’s lack of diversity as they complain about the girls’ bikini bodies
LOVE Island fans have slammed the show's lack of diversity as they complained about the girls' bikini bodies.
Tonight the popular ITV2 dating show returned to our screens.
Many viewers have pointed out that the programme hasn't given the best representation of 'normal' bodies over the years.
At the start of the episode the first five ladies were introduced -Tasha Ghouri, Gemma Owen, Amber Beckford, Indiyah Polack, Paige Thorne.
And it seems like they're still not happy.
Many took to Twitter to share their frustration.
One said: "Every year the girls are all so tiny?! There is barely any diversity when it comes to body sizes."

Another tweeted: "Imagine if they got people on #LoveIsland that actually reflected diversity of types of looks and body that you get in society. Ultimate show to make people feel they need to fit a stereotype/look."
A third added: "Why does this programme never represent different body types? All the blokes are ripped and all the women svelte with long hair. Hardly a representation of real life...."
A fourth chimed in: "I wonder if love island will ever put in some curvy girls for a change, they’re all beautiful of course but can you only find love if your petite, a model etc?"
