Love Island couples REVEALED as viewers decide who pairs up with who – including Gemma Owen and Tasha Ghouri
LOVE Island’s sexy singletons are finally in the villa and ready for Cupid’s arrow to strike.
But this year their destiny is in the hands of viewers right from the start.

Instead of the five lads and five ladies choosing who they want to couple up with as usual, last night’s launch show saw fans getting to vote for each love match.
Boys Luca Bish, Dami Hope, Ikenna Ekwonna, Andrew Le Page and Liam Llewellyn were all happy with their lot.
But the peace did not last for long.
The ITV2 show, hosted by Laura Whitmore, introduced a bombshell arrival in the form of Italian stallion Davide Sanclimenti, 27.

And his late appearance is sure to make some waves.
Indiyah Polack, who had already been matched up with Ikenna, said of Davide: “When I saw him I was very confused because I had no warning, but he is very good looking.” Model Tasha Ghouri added: “Straight away I was like, ‘Wow. Fit. Hot. Sexy. Hercules’.”
And paramedic Paige Thorne, from Swansea, gushed: “I’m done. I’m ready to get married. I’m ready to have babies.”
Davide, a business owner, was chuffed with what was ahead of him, saying: “When I walked into the villa, I saw all the girls and I’m really impressed, I’m not going to lie.”

Learning that viewers have chosen Liam as her match, Gemma said: “Yeah, he’s cute, I’m happy. I’m looking for a guy that is really family orientated, that is so important. Good morals.”
Liam, from Newport, who is studying for a masters, commented: “I’m a happy man, 100 per cent.”
And when he got to know her more later, he was stunned to learn about her life as the daughter of a millionaire footballer.
He said: “You have 12 horses? At home? Home, home?
“You must have a big house. Well, horses are outside.”

TASHA AND ANDREW
REAL estate agent Andrew Le Page was quick to survey his new partner, deaf model Tasha Ghouri.
And the 27-year-old, who is from Jersey but lives in Dubai, concluded: “I’m very happy.”

Tasha, 23, from Thirsk, North Yorks, agreed, saying: “Good vibes. I can feel it already.”
Chatting to the girls later, she added: “He’s an onion – I’ve not peeled back the first layer yet. Hopefully he’s a good onion!”
Tasha also gathered the Islanders at the fire pit to tell them about her hearing impairment and cochlear implant, with Luca saying: “She’s got balls to do that.”
Later in the Beach Hut, a grateful Tasha said: “Everyone was so supportive.”

PAIGE AND LUCA
FISHMONGER Luca Bish seemed happy with his catch when he netted paramedic Paige Thorne.
The 23-year-old from Brighton appeared nervous before the reveal, telling host Laura: “Hopefully they know what they’re doing.”

Laughing, Paige, 24, replied: “We will soon see!”
But she didn’t seem too convinced with her match, and seemed to have her eye on Liam instead.
She admitted in the Beach Hut: “Me and Gemma might go after the same guy quite a lot.”
Earlier, she had said: “I am looking for somebody that genuinely just gets me and my vibe and we are the same kind of person.
“I am a very social, outgoing person. I like spontaneity. I like a bit of thrill, a bit of danger, and I just want somebody to match my level with that and just excite me constantly.”
INDIYAH AND IKENNA
WAITRESS and model Indiyah Polack, 23, was paired with AstraZeneca worker Ikenna Ekwonna.
The Nottingham lad strutted into the villa looking sharp, which is handy as Indiya says awful outfits are a big no no.

When host Laura asked,“Indiyah, what turns you off?”, she replied: “Bad, bad fashion sense.”
But she declared herself “gassed” at being coupled with Ikenna, also 23.
Sharing what her type is, she added: “Tall, clean-shaven, I love a bit of tattoos and I love someone who has good banter and really takes good care of themselves.
“I am always looking for someone who can match my energy and match me.
“I take good care of myself so you need to do the same.”

AMBER AND DAMI
NANNY Amber Beckford, 24, won’t have to look after sensible scientist Dami Hope, 26.
The Dublin microbiologist offers the kind of maturity the glam Londoner is looking for.

Host Laura asked her: “Amber, this is a summer of love, are you looking for a holiday romance or something a little bit more long-term?”
She replied: “Definitely something long-term. I’ve been single for a year and a half now.”

And in a reference to the old format where contestants chose their own partners, Amber added: “I think I would have stepped forward for you.”
