EastEnders viewers convinced Janine Butcher has KILLED Linda Carter in horror car crash

EASTENDERS viewers are convinced that Janine Butcher has KILLED Linda Carter after tonight's horror car crash.

The scheming super bitch - who is played by Charlie Brooks on the BBC One soap - has been going above and beyond to get rid of love rival Linda.

For months, Janine (portrayed by Charlie Brooks) has been pining over Mick Carter's (Danny Dyer) affection and was finally able to get him to commit to her.

However, his estranged wife Linda (Kellie Bright) soon showed up in the Square ahead of Tina Carter's funeral and she's been trying to get rid of her ever since.

This involved paying her a copious amount of money - which she stole from Linda and Mick's daughter Nancy - to bribe her to leave Walford.

The jig was soon up for Janine as Linda figured out what she had been up to.

On Monday's episode, Nancy (Maddy Hill) joined her mum for a trip to Watford and Linda planned to tell her daughter about the stolen money.

But Nancy's boyfriend Zack Hudson accidentally let slip that Linda was planning on doing a runner weeks ago.

A distraught Nancy couldn't believe that her mother would betray her again.

But before Linda has a chance to say anything, Nancy stormed off and headed back home, leaving a deflated Linda with a broken down car.

The former Vic landlady let her old demons resurface and turned to alcohol.

Meanwhile, Janine was on tenterhooks when Nancy stormed back into the Vic, clearly upset.

Janine intercepted a call from a drunk Linda and willing to do anything to stop Linda from speaking to Mick, got a taxi to Linda.

The car is fixed and Janine drove a drunk Linda and Annie home, and pleaded with her not to tell Mick the truth.

She appealed to Linda's emotions by opening up about her own feelings and her difficult childhood.

Janine begged Linda to let Mick go - but Linda vehemently refused and said she would never let Janine have him.

As the pair screamed at each other,  Janine failed to see an upcoming lorry and lost control of the car.

She then crashed the car into a tree and a log landed straight through the window screen.

EastEnders viewers are convinced that Janine has bumped off her love rival.

One wrote: "Why is Janine always trying to axe people off?!"

Another posted: "Is Linda dead? RIP."

A third added: "Janine is probably going to put Linda in the driver's seat and make it look like she was drink-driving..."

Could Janine be responsible for another death?
