Pregnant Jill Duggar defies strict family rules as she bares her legs in mini shorts in new photo with husband Derick

The Counting On alum mentioned that her hubby was "building us a cozy fire to enjoy our breakfast and coffee/tea with this morning before church."

The TLC star concluded: "Praying your day is blessed and that you know you are loved!"

Jill and Derick share their two sons: Israel, six, and Samuel, four.

In February, the couple shared an emotional message about their "little secret" and announced they were expecting a third child.

While showing off her legs, the TV personality has deviated from her parents Jim Bob, 55, and Michelle, 54. and their strict conservative rules.

FAMILY RULES

The show's patriarch and matriarch have mostly stuck to these strict rules for their Christian lifestyle.

The Duggar family has observed a strict dress code that usually only permits women to dress modestly and wear skirts or dresses.

One of these inflexible rules included not allowing women to show their legs or dress in a revealing manner.

The Duggar children have also been homeschooled and grew up with strict access to entertainment and television.

SETTLING IN

Recently, the Counting On star revealed how she has been keeping "busy" with her new Arkansas home. 

Jill shared a close-up shot of "one of my favorite mugs."

She made a "warm cup of vanilla tea with honey and cream."

The TV star has been "settling into" her "new place" by "unpacking, paperwork, repairs."

Jill mentioned she was "trying to distract" herself while still going through the "waves of processing."

The TV personality stood in front of three large boxes that needed to be cut open and unpacked.

She previously displayed the inside of her new $385K home with her followers.

The kitchen, the cabinets, and the two bedrooms had been repainted and remodeled.

Jill wrote: "We are so excited to show y’all a sneak peek of our new house!

"We knew we wanted to make a few changes to the new place to update it + add some personal touches, so we scouted around and found someone to help us!"

She concluded: "We are so happy with how everything turned out!! We are thinking of adding a backsplash to the kitchen in the near future, so feel free to drop your suggestions below!"
