Gogglebox star looks almost unrecognisable five years after quitting Channel 4 show

IT's been five years since Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffat and her parents Betty and Mark waved goodbye to the Channel 4 show.

Now, the former TV stars have posted a selfie looking very different - with mum Betty, 50, showing off her new hair colour.

Scarlett, 31, rose to fame on Gogglebox during its original series alongside her mum and dad, and younger sister Ava.

Betty, who was a permanent feature on the show alongside her eldest daughter, was often seen kicking back on the sofa.

The star - who sported long brunette locks and often dressed comfortably on the show - has been spotted looking totally different.

Scarlett took to her Instagram stories to show off her mum's new look as they enjoyed a garden party for the Platinum Jubilee.

Her mum Betty looked totally different as she pulled her hair back - revealing she had dyed in bleach blonde for the summer.

The glamorous star appeared to go make-up free for the bash - with Scarlett looking very different from her original days on the show.

The TV presenter - who often used to appear on-screen caked with make-up and fake tan - showed off her natural beauty.

Scarlett went on to post a number of photos from their Platinum Jubilee bash in the back garden of her countryside home.

Earlier this month, Scarlett, 31, was seen soaking up the sun in a floral dress as she filmed for her new TV show Driving School.

The reality star is behind the team revamping Driving School 25 years on from the original series made famous by Maureen Rees.

Scarlett - best known for her stints on I'm A Celebrity and Gogglebox - will present the series that follows learner drivers.

Host Scarlett has famously failed her driving test 13 times, so will know exactly how the nervous learners feel.

Scarlett was recently mocked by Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley who said: ";You have failed your driving test 13 times. Today you go for your 14th theoretical test.

"Why do you keep failing? Thirteen times is a heck of a lot of failures."

Scarlett replied: "Yeah, I don't know. If I knew that, I probably wouldn't be failing, Richard."

He then gave her a fake theoretical test, showing her a sign of a windsock asking: "What does this symbol mean?" She replied correctly: "Side winds."
