Dancing on Ice winner Sonny Jay splits from fiancee after five years together as they struggled with long-distance
DANCING on Ice champion Sonny Jay has split from his music producer fiancee after five years together, The Sun can reveal.
The pair were struggling with a long-distance relationship after his other half Lauren Faith jetted off to Los Angeles to focus on work.
She admitted being "unhappy" living in London where Sonny works as a breakfast radio host for Capital FM with Roman Kemp and Sian Welby.
The couple had plans to get married after Sonny's romantic proposal on a boat trip in Mykonos in August 2020.
An insider told us: "Sonny and Lauren have called off the wedding.
"It's been a busy time for both of them since Sonny won Dancing on Ice and Lauren's music producing started taking off.

"They're both determined to focus on their careers and were struggling to make the long-distance work as Lauren spent months in Los Angeles, while Sonny worked in London.
"They both want a fresh start and have wiped each other off of their social media pages."
Sonny's rep refused to comment on the split when approached by The Sun.
The DJ then posted on Instagram: "After five years of Lauren and I being together, we've decided that sadly we're parting way.s We have so much love and respect for each other and we will both continue to support each other in everything we do.

"For now, we both need to focus on ourselves and our careers and we're both ready and excited to start a new chapter separately.
"Lauren in the most talented person I know and deserves every success.
"Life really works in mysterious ways and what's meant to be will be."
Lauren opened up about being "unhappy" living in London as she appeared to reveal she's made a permanent move to America.
She said: "You all see how driven and focused we both are with our careers and with that being said I don't want to spend much more time in London building mine in a city that doesn't make me happy anymore."

The pair moved house together last year and shared interior snaps on a Home Instagram account with fans.
They have since wiped each other off their Instagram pages - including snaps of their engagement.
