Contestant Ness had said the high offer for a fellow contestant wasn't enough

Ness was up first and achieved £7,000 in her Cash Builder, before Mark gave her a high offer of £27,000.

However, after consulting with her fellow players, she decided to stick with what she had brought to the table.

She told Mark: "I don't think the £27,000 is enough for me to gamble. I think I am going to go for £7,000."

Ness managed to make it back to her seat safely, and Chloe was up next.

She managed £3,000 in her Cash Builder before Mark offered her £30,000 as a high option, which he said was "very generous".

However, Ness told Chloe £30K wasn't enough, prompting a response from Mark which left host Bradley Walsh stunned.

He said: "I have to say before we start, Ness if you don't think £30,000 is enough, don't go on Pointless love, you'd be more disappointed."

The Beast had a bit of a point, as the BBC show's jackpot is £1,000 unless it rolls over if someone doesn't get a pointless answer in the final round.

Chloe decided to be bold and said: "It's go big or go home so I am going to go for the £30,000."

Bradley, 61, told her: "Good for you, the fact you have gone for it speaks volumes."

However, her gamble didn't pay off and Mark caught her and sent her home empty-handed.

Mark said she would be disappointed if she went on the BBC show, which has an initial jackpot of £1,000
