RADIO 2 star Sara Cox has revealed an incredible body transformation - showing off her six-pack in a jaw-dropping snap.

The 47-year-old mum of three said she was "chuffed" after taking on a gruelling fitness programme.

Sara explained that she had quit drinking and taken on home workouts that included lifting heavy beer barrels.

The transformation was shared by the organisers of a 75-day abs workout programme she has just completed.

The picture was captioned: "Incredible final results photo from BBC2 radio presenter @djsaracox who just completed the March wave of The Six Pack Revolution. 👏💪🔥.

"YASSSS girl. In her own words: 'Pretty chuffed that I cracked it aged 47. Recommend it massively if you want to have a go.'"

Sara was quickly congratulated by pals including Radio 2 co-star Rylan Clark who told her: "So proud. You look unreal. Congrats beautiful x❤️."

Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse added: "Omgggggg you look incredible 🔥."

Fearne Cotton wrote simply: "😍😍😍😍."

Another pal wrote: "Jesus Christ, Mary and Joseph, u look phenomenal doll" with the star replying: "Lollll thanks love!"

The star - who has presented shows including The Great Pottery Throwdown and book programme Between the Covers - said she feels "ruddy ace".

Explaining she has completed the programme this week, Sara added: "Loved not drinking - tho 2 big family parties AND an all inclusive holiday on the wagon was a challenge 🥴but definitely worth it💪🏼.

"Been into fitness for a bit but really needed a kick up the tush & this has been brilliant."
