SILENT Witness viewers left distracted as they spotted something VERY wrong with Jack and Nikki's first date.

The pair finally got to spend some time together in a romantic setting during last night's instalment of the BBC show.

The lead forensic scientist and forensic pathologist got together in series 24, but many have been wondering if anything else will happen between the two.

The latest season kicked off last week and it looks like things are going well.

However fans weren't impressed that their first ever date was all done in the dark.

Many took to Twitter to share their frustrations.

A fifth tweeted: "#SilentWitness Well that was a bit weird, it must be a secret where they had their date."

It comes after fans were left scratching their heads when they spotted an old-fashioned red phone box in the top cop drama.

Silent Witness fans flocked to twitter to complain about the out-dated props and settings being used in the hit BBC1 drama.

One said: "They still have pay phones in Liverpool? How quaint."

Another chimed in: "Jeez. They still have phone boxes in London."

A third said: "Can't believe they are still using phone boxes. Erm, really."
