IT’S been four years since Seann Walsh's world came tumbling down after he kissed married Strictly partner Katya Jones.
Now the loverat has expressed regret over the effect that it had on his then girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries.
The actress accused Seann of gaslighting her and calling her a “psycho” when she confronted him with her suspicions that something was going on during his time on the BBC1 dance contest.
Only when he was pictured snogging Katya, who was then married to fellow pro dancer Neil Jones, did she discover the truth.
But it was the shocking way that it came out publicly that bothers Seann the most.
He said: “What you are thinking about is: ‘What have you done to someone?’ It’s one thing doing that privately and I don’t judge anyone, because everyone’s got their own backstory, lives or whatever.

“It was horrific. It was crazy.”
Seann was speaking about the scandal on the new Prime Video show Backstage With Katherine Ryan, which starts on June 9.
It sees the Canadian comedienne talking to other stand-up stars in their changing rooms before and after gigs.
She asks him outright what effect the 2018 scandal had on him, and he says he feels the backlash was totally disproportionate.

He said: “I have such amazing memories of being on that show and then the repercussions of that kiss, it was crazy. I’m just a comic.
“I can’t go near anything Strictly, I can’t. It just messes my head up.
“One day I hope I can look back at that fondly, that first few weeks, because it was the best time of my life.”
Strange, I still can’t bring myself to feel sorry for Seann . . .
Achieving goals
HE’S conquered quiz shows and mastered writing hit novels, now Richard Osman is about to appear in next Thursday’s Who Do You Think You Are?
But in terms of telly, the former Pointless co-host insists he has one goal he wants to achieve.
The lofty brainbox said: “I’ve done Desert Island Discs, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You and a Question Of Sport.
“Which means I’ve just got Celebrity Antiques Road Trip to complete the set - if they’ll have me.
”I love watching it and would love to appear on it. The only problem would be finding an old car to be transported around in that’s either got an open top or is extremely large.
"I’m very tall and I don’t want to be sticking my head up against the roof.”
Jane: Our June was so Ab Fab
SHE really put the cat among the pigeons saying too many top acting jobs go to the same cluster of famous faces – but there is one female star Jane Horrocks truly adores.
The actress, who played dozy personal assistant Bubbles on Absolutely Fabulous, insists they simply couldn’t have made the BBC sitcom without the late, great Dame June Whitfield.
Jane said: “We are no longer a full team any more which is very sad
“It feels like it’s altered because June is no longer with us. It just wouldn’t be the same without her.”
And she was just as down on the Ab Fab movie which was released seven years ago starring her former co-stars Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.

She said: “I didn’t really enjoy it so much, if I’m frank. I preferred doing the television show because I like the live audience.”
To be fair, I’m not sure Jane would be asked back to either a TV or movie reboot . . .
