Angela, Gabe, Fiona and Paul were introduced by host Bradley, 61, ahead of their bid to beat the Chaser and win some money.

But it wasn't the team's quizzing skills that had people in awe - but Birmingham-native Paul's age, which he revealed on the show.

Introducing himself, Paul explained that he was 60 years old, and Bradley - as well as viewers at home - couldn't believe it.

Fans gushed over Paul's ageless good looks and flooded social media with their disbelief, as they joked they looked "terrible" in comparison.

"Paul is 60? What?! I want what he's smoking," one joked, as a second chimed in: "How the f*** is Paul 60, please? What the f***?"

"I beg your pardon, Paul? You're 60? No way! He looks younger," a third said, as a fourth joked: "I look terrible in comparison to Paul."

"F*** off," a fifth said. "If Paul said he was 35 to 40 I would believe him. Honestly, I bet he still got asked for ID on his 40th birthday."

Even Bradley looked stunned by his age as Paul dropped it in conversation a second time, talking about his retirement.

"Yes, I'm 60," Paul explained, as Bradley looked at him wide eyed, replying: "Crikey, you look good for 60."

It comes after Bradley ribbed a contestant for failing to answer three questions HE knew the answers to.

Bradley, who hosts the ITV1 game show, correctly answered all three questions in a row - while the player got them all wrong.

He then gloated to viewers at home: "I'm three up, I should play the game."

Looking at Chaser Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha, who had answered two out of the three incorrectly, he added: "I'm thrashing these two! Thrashing them. I'd be home now with a million pounds."

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV and ITVHub at 5pm
