A Place in The Sun returning to Channel 4 VERY soon – with a show first
A PLACE In The Sun is making a grand comeback - with a huge new twist.
For the first time, the Channel 4 show will help holiday-home hunters in Sardinia, Italy, with host Jean Johansson taking the lead on the search.
Jean will jet off to the stunning Italian island when the new series launches in June.
A Place In The Sun statement read: "Jean lines up five incredible
properties for Katrina and Colin to view.
"Will any of them turn their Italian dream into a reality?"
Meanwhile newbie presenter Lee Juggurnath will whisk Ashok and Anilla to Torrevieja, located on the Costa Blanca, in the opening episode.

The statement added of the holiday hotspot: "The seaside town is well-known for its beaches and abundant nature.
"With a charming promenade, and a huge range of bars and restaurants, it’s the perfect location for a holiday home.
"However, can Lee pull out all the stops and impress Ashok and Anilla with the properties he has on offer?"
Previously, Lee, 34, opened up on the "hate" he has received over his outfits and style.
Lee recently told the : "The backlash of when an episode comes out, it's really funny because you're going to get a lot of love, but alongside that love, you're also going to get a lot of haters out there.
“There are a lot of people that say bad stuff and negative stuff, comment on everything, the way that you look, the way that you sound and what you're wearing.”
Meanwhile, fans will be overjoyed to learn the familiar team of experts including Craig Rowe, Leah Charles King, Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, Ben Hillman, Danni Menzies and Sara Damergi will all be returning to some of the show’s favourite locations.
Locations under the spotlight will span from the Costa Del Sol, Italy, the Algarve and the stunning Canary Islands.
Additionally, fan favourite host host Laura Hamilton recently revealed a major career change.
Laura will now be adding another string to her bow as she trains to become a pilot.
The TV presenter updated her bio on Instagram to read: "Pilot in training."
