THE Bold and the Beautiful star Tanner Novlan has broken his silence on his character Finn's big soap opera return on Monday.
Th 36-year-old actor has admitted during his appearance on The Talk that he “felt awful” for tricking fans into believing Finn was dead.
At the very end of Monday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, viewers learned that Finn wasn’t deceased, as they had been told he was for the past month and a half.
His adoptive mother, Li, has actually been caring for him, and fans saw him in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines, and her looking over him.
After his true fate had been revealed on-air, Tanner showed up on The Talk to finally discuss his character’s storyline, as he’d been keeping quiet for almost two months.
For having to hide the truth from everyone for weeks, he begged fans: “Don’t be mad at me!”

Tanner added, though, that he was “blown away at the fans’ reaction” to everything.
“I couldn’t believe the support,” the soap actor added.
As much as he wanted to ease everyone’s worries and reveal that Finn is really alive, he said he’s “contractually obligated not to tell you guys” anything.
The Bold star admitted: “I felt awful about it! But it was still kinda fun.

“And I think that’s what our soap does so well. You never know what’s gonna happen or where this is gonna go.”
Finn's death storyline began on April 1 when his wife, Steffy, watched as her husband was accidentally shot by his biological mother, Sheila.
Tanner shared that that broadcast date was not intentional but definitely fitting.
He said that after they realized the air date was April Fools’ Day, they had to kind of hope audiences wouldn't think too much into it.
"We're like, ‘This is not a joke, guys, this is not a drill,’" he said, adding: "So, it’s a little bit tricky to navigate April Fools’ Day.”
Secrecy really was of the utmost importance, Tanner explained, which was why even those closest to him didn’t know Finn was alive.
He revealed he couldn’t even tell his mom, who is “the biggest B&B fan.”
“She was devastated that [I was getting killed off],” the actor added. “The whole time I wanted to say, ‘It’s ok, Mom, stick with it.’”
He continued: “She was SO mad at the producers. I was like, 'Don’t write [them], Mom, it’s gonna be ok.'”
With Finn now confirmed to still be alive, all Talk host Sheryl Underwood really wanted to know about was what’s going to happen with his relationship with his wife Steffy.
She asked Tanner how wonderful the reunion between the two of them will be.
“This is gonna be a big moment in our show,” he told her.
The actor then quickly added: “We’ll see. I don’t know how much I can tell, but how amazing will that be if we could reunite Finn and Steffy?
“Right? I mean, I think that’s what [fans] want.”
Though Finn made his grand return to Bold on Monday, his fate was spoiled the day before.
A leaked cover photo of ’s summer issue began circulating on Sunday, and the shot featured a line about Finn coming back.
While breaking down the biggest news for each of the four soaps, the tidbit chosen for The Bold and the Beautiful was all about Tanner’s character.
“Finn’s alive!,” the magazine revealed in big letters, before asking readers, “Now what?”
