Escape to the Chateau fans seriously confused after spotting big change to the Strawbridges’ home
ESCAPE to the Chateau fans were left seriously confused when they spotted a big change to the Strawbridges’ home in a recent snap.
Dick, 62, and Angel, 44 – who shot to fame in 2016 on the Channel 4 show – love to share pictures of their stunning home in Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France.
Their most recent snap shows off the outside of their 45-room 19th century property.
They captioned the post: “The view leading up to Chateau de La Motte Husson. 🌞#escapetothechateau #dickandangel #chateaudelamottehusson.”
Many loved the sneak peek of their humble abode, but others questioned if they had got rid of an outside feature.
One commented: “What happened to the bird cages in front of the chateau?”

Another said: “What happened to the bird cages? Are they still a feature?”
Three years ago the couple placed two aviaries at the front of their pad.
Angel had previously explained that when she first got together with Dick he gifted her a bird cage and they had thoughts of creating a aviary.
Angel and Dick tied the knot in 2015 and share two kids – Dorothy and Arthur.
They bought the chateau in 2014 for £280,000.
They have filmed their renovations for Escape to the Chateau.
