Beat The Chasers’ Mark Labbett takes brutal swipe at contestant’s outfit – but it seriously backfires

A CONTESTANT on Beat the Chasers got the last laugh on Tuesday night after Mark Labbett and Bradley Walsh made fun of his outfit.

Chaser Mark was quick to mock pastor Duncan's appearance as he began his bid to win some money on The Chase spin-off.

Later, Bradley joked the contestant was on the wrong show, as he made an unusual request while deciding which Chasers to face in the final round.

But just as he was walking down to meet Bradley in front of the audience, Mark was heard joking: "Is he wearing pyjamas?"

Duncan was seen sporting a purple, pink and blue coloured hoodie, with dark grey trousers and brown shoes.

The contestant pulled off an impressive performance in the question round, before having to decide how many Chasers he wanted to play against.

Unsure on what to do, he asked host Bradley Walsh if he could have some assistance from the audience - an option on another  quiz show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Bradley mocked his request, by replying: "Wrong show, but you can if you want..."

Duncan asked those in the crowd what they thought he should do and they soon began shouting over each other.

After toying between the £25k and the £50k, Duncan decided to go for the lower amount, which would see him face four Chasers with 60 seconds on his clock, and 40 seconds on their clock.

Duncan was up against Darragh Ennis, Shaun Wallace, Jenny Ryan and guest Chaser Issa Schultz.

The contestant later stormed to victory, with 26 seconds still remaining on the clock, while the Chasers ran out of time and failed to stop him.

Duncan was thrilled as he won the £25,000 and was congratulated by Bradley, while Issa told him he "really deserved to win".

Beat the Chasers airs all at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
