The Chase fans left fuming as show is taken off air and replaced by another ITV quiz for the entire week
THE Chase has been replaced this week - with viewers tuning in hoping to see Bradley Walsh greeted by an entirely different ITV quiz.
As Beat The Chasers is airing in primetime on the channel, the regular version of the show has had to take a hike.
In its place, episodes of the Adil Ray-fronted Lingo will be broadcast from 5pm until the ITV News at 6pm every day of the week.
The Chase fans will still get their fix in the big-budget spin-off of the show, Beat The Chasers, which will air at 9pm.
However, that will mean that the regular teatime edition of the show won't air all week.
One fan tweeted their disappointment, writing: "What's happened to #TheChase ? @ITVChase get this Lingo c**p off my TV."

Another wrote: "No #thechase tonight.... booooooo. But #beatthechasers at 9!"
Beat The Chasers has a new line-up this series, with Issa Schultz joining Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis.
Anne Hegerty, better known on the show as The Governess, was forced to pull out of filming the ITV show after catching Covid during filming back in March.
Issa, 38, dropped everything and flew from Brisbane to the UK within hours of getting the call to step in for the quizzing star known as The Governess.

He told The Sun: "I got a last-minute call to step into The Governess’s cold and chilly shoes.
"What a delight. It was close to 1am Brisbane time - I’m a night owl and my Australian boss said to the UK bosses: ‘Just call him, he’ll be up.’
"Then I was on the plane, I think it was close to 9am that very morning. As they say, the show must go on! I’d be foolish not to do it."
Despite stepping into those 'chilly shoes', Anne encouraged Issa and sent him kind words before he hit the big stage.
Issa explained: "My fellow chasers were lovely and so welcoming. Anne was so supportive - she said: ‘Go for it Issa, I know you can do this'."
