Coronation Street fans all say the same thing after Phill Whittaker makes shocking admission to Fiz Stape

CORONATION Street are convinced Phill Whittaker has revealed he’s a secret villain after he made a bombshell confession tonight.

The former council worker - who is played by actor Jamie Kenna in the ITV soap - let slip he has always known that girlfriend Fiz was married to serial killer John Stape.

In tonight’s episode he introduced her to two of his closest friends.

But in a shock twist it was revealed that one of them worked on the case for the prosecution when Fiz faced court for John’s crimes.

She rushed out of dinner devastated that she had been exposed.

Fiz was panicking about how she could open up to Phill and confided in ex Tyrone.

However as they talked, Phill arrived with her handbag.

And he had a major confession to go with it.

He told her: “I’m sorry to admit that he wasn’t telling me anything I didn’t know. I’ve always known about John.

“I just didn’t mention it because I thought if if you wanted to talk about it then you would.”

Fiz was taken aback and told him: “I’ve never spoken about it outside these walls. 

“I’ve never spoken about how it was for me and now I get people I don’t even know guessing how it was. 

“It was hell. Absolute hell. I just wish the world could understand that.”

Fans are suspicious of Phill - and sure he’s hiding an evil plan for Fiz.

One wrote: "Phill should've told Fizz! What else is up to?"

A second said: "Why didn't Phill say anything before?"

Another added: "I feel like Phill is up to something! Poor Fizz."
