Birds of a Feather’s Pauline Quirke looks completely different as she hangs out with Lorraine Kelly

BIRDS of a Feather star Pauline Quirke has been spotted looking completely different as she hung out with Lorraine Kelly.

The actress - who played Sharon Theodopolopodous in the long-running BB comedy series - posed with her pal on Instagram.

Pauline, 62, could be seen cosying up to ITV host Lorraine, 62, as they headed to an event together in Buckinghamshire.

The pair smiled wide for the camera as they enjoyed the special ceremony about recognising those who help their "local community".

Wearing a summery white blouse and jeans, Pauline appeared fresh-faced as she went make-up free at the weekend event.

She completed her look by keeping her grey locks tucked behind her ears, with sunglasses on her head and simple silver jewellery.

The actress looked a world away from her character Sharon, who sported shorter brown locks and often seen in glamorous make-up.

Meanwhile, Lorraine, who stood by her for the snap, opted for a denim dress as she too appeared fresh-faced.

Posting the snap to Instagram, she wrote: "With the glorious Pauline this week at a special ceremony about helping the local community."

Pauline, who hit the headlines last year after an extraordinary row with her Birds of a Feather castmates, quit fame after the show.

She is no longer speaking to former best pal Linda Robson or Lesley Joseph following several backstage barneys.

A source close to Linda said the atmosphere on set between Pauline and the cast became more hostile.

The source said: “The nadir came during one astonishing row at Teddington Studios, culminating in Pauline and Lesley squaring off.

“They were basically pulled apart by stunned crew members. Things went rapidly downhill from there."

It meant Pauline was snubbed for the Christmas special in 2020, for which Linda and Lesley returned.

While Birds of a Feather was off-air, Pauline set up The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts - with more than 200 venues in the UK.

She has kept her private life out of the spotlight, but she's reported to live on a canal boat with her husband Steven Sheen.

The couple have two children together, Emily and Charlie.
