Britain’s Got Talent fans spot dance group are already TV stars from The Greatest Dancer
BRITAIN'S Got Talent fans did a double take as dance troupe Dane Bates Collective took to the stage.
The emotional act promised to "tell stories" with their fancy footwork and this time around, re-created a letter sent in the war.
It was all the more poignant as the letter was sent by one of the dancer's great-grandfathers to her great-grandmother, and set against the backdrop of U2 tune, With Or Without You.
Yet as they took to the Britain's Got Talent stage, fans had the feeling they had seen them before.
The eagle-eyed viewers at home recalled their time on BBC series, The Greatest Dancer, on which Alesha also starred.
One took to Twitter to praise the bunch as they wrote: "The Dane Bates Collective were on The Greatest Dancer #BGT
Our favs tonight were… Junwoo an outstanding magician 🧙♂️ Tulgar the strongman 🔥 was mindblowing & Dane Bates Collective dancers were so magical ✨💕."

Another wrote: "Phenomenal piece from Dane Bates Collective on #BGT, showcasing the power of dance to tell a story. I think this group were on The Greatest Dancer previously too - incredible choreographer!"
One was more sarcastic, noting their former telly fame, as they put: "Alesha Dixon sitting there acting as if she hasn’t already seen Dane Bates Collective dance on the Greatest Dancer… #BGT."
Another mused: "s this not the exact same routine/idea/vision that Dane Bates Collective did on The Greatest Dancer? #BritainsGotTalent #bgt"
Calling out the choreography, one then put: "Seemed very very similar in theme to what the Dane Bates Collective did recently on The Greatest Dancer when they used doorways to face their insecurities…. #bgt"

Yet another was simply enchanted and posted: "Dammit #BGT , why you do this to me?? In tears with Dane Bates Collective doing the war story. So good! And a fantastic way to remember our history."
The group made it into popstar Cheryl's final three in The Greatest dancer.
The girls come from all over the country and were joined together to make the group by dance teacher Dane Bates.
The female group frequently left Cheryl in floods of tears with their routines.
Previously, once a month they told how they meet in a central location - usually Liverpool - to rehearse and insist that despite coming from different ends of the UK they all share a close bond.

They then said: "We all support each other, as we do not see each other very often it is so exciting when we finally meet up."
Meanwhile on BGT, fans were left irked after claiming magician Junwoo Park was "robbed" of a Golden Buzzer spot.
