James Corden will film for his final Late Late Show from London after quitting America to come home
JAMES Corden will kick off the final year of his Late Late Show tenure with a return home to London.
The telly star’s last season on the US talk show will begin with four special episodes broadcast from the Freemasons’ Hall in the capital.
James has promised to share “highlights of his homeland” during the residency and says he’ll give famous segments like Crosswalk Musical and Carpool Karaoke a “British makeover”.
It’s been three years since James last filmed the show in the UK, with those sessions featuring huge guests like Michelle Obama, Chris Hemsworth, Harry Styles and Sir Ian McKellen.
Last month he announced this series of The Late Late Show would be his last.
A source said: “Something about James’ shows in London really strikes a chord with viewers. Plus the guests are always phenomenal because it’s much easier for British stars to appear on the show, with no need for transatlantic travel.”
