Phil looked concerned and asked: “You didn’t swear then did you?”

Gok asked: “Was that a swear word?”, Phil admitted he hadn’t properly heard, as Rochelle quickly pretended he hadn’t said anything.

Addressing the viewers, Phil said: “If he swore, sorry.”

Those watching at home were not impressed and also spotted he licked the spoon before putting it back in the bowl.

Taking to Twitter to complain, one person wrote: “Gok you should know better than to taste the food then put the spoon back in the pot and then to say b****r on a live show and not realise you have sworn #thismِorning.”

A second commented: “People raising their eyebrows over Gok Saying the word b****r.”

But others weren’t convinced it is even wrong, asking: “Is b****r a swear word? 😂😂#ThisMorning.”

Gok is best known for his work in fashion but also regularly appears on This Morning to do Asian cooking.

Speaking recently about his plans for the future, the star revealed he hopes to get married – but admitted he’s terrible at relationships.

He said:  “I do intend to be married at some point in my life because I want the wedding. But whether I end up marrying one of my girlfriends – just to have the day – or whether it’s a love marriage, I have no idea.

“I’m c**p at relationships. I’m definitely of the school of thinking: ‘If you’re not very good at something, then don’t f***ing go near it.’ If relationships come along then they come along. And if they’re not there, I don’t tend to miss them too much.”
