Heartbroken Joe Wicks left in tears after family discovery in new BBC documentary

FITNESS favourite Joe Wicks has revealed he sobbed through every scene of his new documentary, Facing My Childhood.

He recalls growing up with a mum, Raquela, with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder which meant she was fixated on cleanliness, and a dad, Gary, who was a drug addict.

During filming of the programme, which airs on BBC1 next Monday, The Body Coach discovered that his mum went into rehab for months.

Joe, then aged ten, didn’t realise because his parents covered it up.

He said: “It must have been so hard, especially leaving us with my dad, who was still a recovering drug addict and relapsing.”
