Amy Barlow told Billy she heard Summer secretly purging and had not been checking her sugar levels.

But after a difficult few months, Summer decided to attend a diabetic support group, where she met new love interest, Aaron.

In upcoming scenes, Summer meets up with Aaron and opens up about her bulimia.

Aaron’s taken aback and Summer worries that she’s scared him off and her insecurities resurface.

Aaron assures Summer that he’s in no way judging her, but reckons it’s best if they don’t see each other outside of the support group.

In her bedroom, Summer looks at her reflection in the mirror, hating what she sees.

Still hoping their friendship could materialise into something more, Summer tries to call Aaron but it goes straight to voicemail leaving, upsetting her further.

Could this rejection push Summer's recovery back?

Summer's eating disorder began as grew romantic feelings for her teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

In a bid to control her jealousy of Daisy Midgeley, Daniel's on and off girlfriend, Summer has been obsessing over her food intake.

She notably purged a meal Billy treated her to in the Bistro and took the habit of binging on junk food before making herself sick.

This behaviour was made worse when she found out Max Turner had upskirted her, which led to her scoffing some chocolate before rushing to the toilet to make herself throw up.
