Kim Kardashian ripped for wearing ANOTHER Marilyn Monroe gown after Met Gala as fans beg her to STOP ‘copying’ late star

to show off her curves in a tight green Norman Norell dress, but also dropped a bombshell in the caption revealing it was the Some Like It Hot star's gown.

She wrote: "To top off my night after The Met, I had the honor of changing into Marilyn Monroe's Norman Norell dress that she wore to the Golden Globes in 1962 —where she received the Henrietta Award For World Film Favorite.

"In my quest to find the Jean Louis hand-beaded dress that I wore to the gala, I discovered Juliens Auctions owned Marilyn’s iconic green sequined gown."

Kim then claimed that the owner of the Golden Globe that Marilyn received that evening was none other than the TV star's florist Jeff Leatham.

The Hulu star concluded: "I saw this all as a sign of the way that all of the stars aligned. It will forever be one of the greatest privileges of my life to be able to channel my inner Marilyn in this way, on such a special night."

Fans weren't too pleased in the comments section as one wrote: "So you're just going to keep wearing this lady’s clothes?"

"Now leave her clothes alone, thanks," another said as one chimed in, "Now... you're taking it too far..."

"Bottom line is you want to be her," one commented.

One added: "I’m so confused. You're not an icon... be yourself"

However, some fans questioned if Kim was actually wearing Marilyn's dress as one asked: "You sure that’s the same dress?"

Another added: "Doesn’t even look like the same dress..."

Earlier this week the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum kicked off the controversy when she decided to wear Marilyn's famous Happy Birthday Mr. President dress- one that is worth $5M.

The star wore it at the Met Gala, which she attended with her boyfriend Pete Davidson.

RIPPED AT RIPLEY'S?

While she received backlash, Kim was also accused of damaging the dress.

previously showed Kim's butt popping out of a huge hole in the back as she and Pete, 28, visited Ripley's Believe It Or Not in Orlando, Florida, to see the dress.

The museum pulled out the dress 10 days before it made its Met Gala debut, and a room full of people used their strength to get the TV personality into the outfit.

However, they were unable to fit it over the star's rear end.

In a shocking moment, the crew was forced to leave the back of the gown open to avoid ripping, exposing Kim's underwear.

As a result, the SKIMS founder covered the gaping hole with a vintage white coat.

"This is so infuriating! It’s so delicate that gloves must be worn while handling it but Kim is allowed to destroy it like this?" one person ranted after viewing the clip.

'SUCH A CHALLENGE'

The mom of four recently revealed the lengths she went to in order to fit into the dress.

She told Vogue on the red carpet at the event: "... I tried it on and it didn't fit me. I said, 'Give me three weeks.'

"I had to lose 16 pounds down today."

Kim added: "It was such a challenge. It was like a [movie] role. I was determined to fit [into] it. I haven't had carbs or sugar in about three weeks.

"We're having pizza and doughnut party back at the hotel [after the Met Gala]."

The dress was designed by Jean Louis and originally cost $12,000 before Ripley's purchased it in November 2016 for $4.81 million.
