Coronation Street’s fans heartbroken as Faye and Craig in relationship crisis after life-changing health diagnosis
CORONATION Street's viewers were left heartbroken as Faye Windass received a life-changing diagnosis on Monday's episode.
Faye - who is played by Ellie Leach on the ITV soap - was told she won't be able to have anymore children as she's suffering from an early menopause.
In tonight's instalment, Faye visited the GP to get her test results after she got a false positive on a pregnancy test last month.
Dr. Gaddas told her that there was "no signs of anything cancerous".
Faye breathed a sigh of relief and said: “I knew it would be okay.”
But the doctor then broke the news: "But the tests do show significant hormonal change, Faye you have something called premature ovarian failure."

A startled Faye asked: “What does that mean.”
"It means that your ovaries can no longer produce eggs, which is why your period stopped," the doctor explained.
She explained they can treat the condition with hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
A panicked Faye responded: "I can’t have the menopause, I’m only 20."
A devastated Faye asked if she'd ever be able to have kids again, but Dr. Gaddas sadly confirmed: "It is possible for you to be a surrogate with an IVF donor.”
A distressed Faye exclaimed: "But the baby won't be mine.
But I want to have a family, I want to be a mum, a proper mum.
"I had a baby and I gave her away because I wasn’t ready I thought I’d have more time, more children.
"Me and Craig we spoke about being parents one day.
She broke the news to her father Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and said she believed she was being punished for giving up her daughter Miley.
She then returned home and told boyfriend Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) the shock news.
Faye offered Craig a way out and said she wouldn't blame him if he wanted to breakup with her.
But the police officer promised she's the only woman he wants to have kids with.
Viewers were heartbroken for Faye and fear her relationship with Craig is in crisis.
