Coronation Street fans have a big demand after Amy Barlow’s violent outburst
WEATHERFIELD teen Amy Barlow was spiked during her school's Valentine's Day dance.
She still struggles with some lingering trauma - but Coronation Street fans were shocked at her outburst on last night's episode.
In February, Amy (portrayed by Elle Mulvaney) got a glimpse of adulthood for her 18th birthday with a night out on the town.
Unfortunately for her, the night went south after her drink was spiked before going clubbing.
While she was out of danger once Jacob Hay put her in the lateral security position, the incident has had psychological repercussions on the youngster.
Last night's trip to the cobbles left fans upset with Amy as she lashed out an innocent bystander whom she believed to be the culprit.

The scene began with the teen in obvious distress as she misinterpreted the boy's glances.
When she confronted him, she immediately accused him of spiking her drink, which the lad denied before telling her to get some help and walking away.
Amy was having none of it, saying: "Don't you walk away from me!"
As the the boy kept to himself, Amy had a violent outburst and threw a cup of hot coffee over him.
But Corrie fans who know who really spiked her drink begged for the truth to be revealed as they struggled with Amy's behaviour.
"Amy really needs to know the truth", one viewer commented while another added: "Oh Amy", paired with a broken heart and crying emojis.
A third viewer empathised with Amy, reminding everyone that Max Turner (Paddy Bever) is the one to blame.
"I can understand why Amy would be worried about school lads looking at her after her drink spiking incident as she doesn’t know yet it’s little s*** Max", they wrote.
Amy soon realised her mistake as a crowd gathered around the boy she attacked.
This prompted Weatherfield High teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) to tell David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) about his niece's behaviour, pressuring Max to tell the truth.
Daniel has had enough of Max's mischief after the troublemaker leaked some of his ex Nicky Wheatley's photos.
Viewers saw Daniel take a stand to push Max into, for once, facing the music as he has been used to get away with his antics.
Pressured and overwhelmed, Max finally came clean at the end of last night's show, admitting to Amy he had spiked her drink albeit accidentally.
