BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent's has a mysterious off camera life - with secret husband and never-seen son.
The 50-year-old started presenting the show after taking over from Louise Minchin as a main host earlier this year.
Back in 2011 Sally began co-hosting the breakfast show as a freelancer and then in February 2022 she was given the role of a permeant presenter.
Despite gracing our screens every on BBC Breakfast every Monday to Wednesday alongside Dan Walker, 45, there is not much .
Before Sally's successful career in journalism, she attended Upton Hall School FCJ and studied Communication Arts and French BA at the University of Huddersfield.
The TV star's first major media role was at BBC Radio Merseyside.
She later showed a real interest in sports and read it on BBC North West Tonight.
Then in 2003 she joined the BBC as a sports reporter.
Eight years later she started to co-present BBC Breakfast as a freelancer.
Sally boasts an impressive 54.1k followers on Instagram, however she does like to keep her personal life very private.

The telly presenter is married, but not his name is not known to the public.
The couple also share a son together who they welcomed into the world in 2008.
They also have a Cavalier King Charles and a Toy Poodle mix called Sadie.
