Simon Bird hints The Inbetweeners cast could reunite for Netflix special
THE Inbetweeners actor Simon Bird has teased that "anything's possible" with regard to another epic show reuniuon.
The actor, 37, who played loveable Will McKenzie in the E4 comedy series, has ruled out a re-boot where the cast play older, "embarrassing parents."
Yet Simon, who starred alongside Emily Atack as well as Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and James Buckley has hinted there could be more to come.
He told this would not be in the form of a series, to follow the seasons aired between 2008 to 2010.
He said: "It's a hard no, I'm afraid, much better to leave it as a happy memory."
Yet Simon, who has since gone on to star in comedy series Friday Night Dinner, then teased: "Cut to us all doing a third film for Netflix next year, anything's possible."

The cast has long ruled out making any more episodes, saying the fact they are not in their mid-30s would mean they can no longer play schoolboys.
Yet a Netflix deal, which would follow the second movie release in 2014, could present a different opportunity.
Yet James, who played Jay Cartwright, appears less optimistic.
The actor who portrayed the lovable loudmouth - was a guest on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X.
During the chat, Chris asked him whether he would consider reprising his role as Jay on the hit Channel 4 comedy.
The host asked: “If the people who wrote The Inbetweeners said ‘we’ve got a new script’ - it’s basically what everyone’s up to now - do you want to see it? You’d say yes?”
Despite recalling his time on the series as “the best job in the world”, James adamantly replied: "No."
An open-mouthed Moyles questioned: “You don’t even want to read it?”
Putting the conversation to bed, Buckley explained: “Not because I don't think I would have an amazing time doing it, because I know I would.

“There's not enough money in the world for me to spoil that.”
