Who is Grace star Richie Campbell?
RICHIE Campbell is fast becoming one of Britain’s most sought after actors.
He is now back on the box in the latest episode of ITV’s Grace.
Who is Richie Campbell?
Richie was born on February 8, 1983 in London.
The 39-year-old has appeared in hit TV shows and films throughout his career.
Most notably he featured in Top Boy as Chris from 2011 to 2019 and was also in Waterloo Road back in 2013 as Ndale.
In 2020 he played Rothwell Kentish in Small Axe.
Richie’s work on the big screen has included British film Anuvahood and 2009’s football hooliganism centred The Firm.
He has also voiced characters in video games such as Alien: Isolation and Stories Untold.
Who does Richie play in Grace?
In ITV’s Grace, Richie plays DS Glenn Bransone, who works alongside John Simm’s Detective Roy Grace.
Richie has previously spoken about his relationship John, which left the duo wanting to film more once filming had wrapped.
Speaking to , he said: “John is a brilliant actor. He is very collaborative which is how I like to work.
“It’s that element of being an ensemble and working through things together.
“I love all of that and we laughed all day long, but when it was time to focus and work we were on it – that goes for all the team.
“When we finished filming we felt like we wanted to do more, it was so good to do.”
Richie also admitted to not having read the original books by Peter James before hearing about Grace but was taken by the story’s plot.
He said: “The scripts for Grace were brilliant. There were a lot of twists and turns, things I didn’t expect.
“The whole Branson and Grace relationship was also cool.
“There’s a bit of a ‘buddy cop’ going on but also much more – they have a history which makes them feel like real characters who have really lived.”
Is Richie married?
Richie is very private when it comes to his personal life.
