Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan devastated as beloved family member dies
CORONATION Street's Helen Flanagan has been left devastated after a beloved family member passed away this week.
The soap star took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late Nanna, sharing a number of photographs of her with fans.
Helen, 31, revealed that she was left heartbroken after her nan Nancy passed away earlier in the week in the emotional post.
The snaps saw Nancy posing with the actress' children - daughters Matilda, six, Delilah, three, and baby boy Charlie, one.
"My Nanna passed away this week," Helen wrote in the heartfelt caption. "I loved and love my Nanna so much.
"She was an amazing lady and I am proud to be Nancy’s granddaughter. I am so grateful for the precious times we shared.

"My Nanna got to see all three of my beautiful children that my Nanna loved so much and gave her so much joy.
"I have the best childhood memories, holiday memories and memories with my babies with my Nanna that I am so grateful for."
"I wish I could see and give her one last cuddle and tell her how much I loved her but I think she knew," Helen concluded.
Fans and friends headed to the comments to offer up their condolences, including a number of her fellow Corrie stars.

Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe in the soap, wrote: "Oh Helen, I'm so sorry. Love to you and to the family."
While Katie McGlynn, who portrayed Sinead Tinker in the show, added: "Sending so much love my darling."
It comes days after Helen revealed her children had been struck down with Scarlet fever as she asked fans for help.
She shared the devastating news that all three of her children are suffering with the contagious infection.
The contagious illness is caused by Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria, which can manifest on the skin and throat.
It commonly affects children aged between five and 15 and is spread by breathing in bacteria from airborne droplets.
It comes after Helen asked fans for help after explaining her son Charlie "will not eat" and "just wants the boob".
Helen told her 1m followers: "Charlie will just not eat I'm going to take him to a specialist this week. He eats nothing.
"I've tried not feeding him with milk so he'll eat more but he just has no interest in food and he just wants the boob."

Helen and footballer Scott Sinclair got engaged in 2018 after nine years of dating.
They welcomed Matilda into the world in 2015, and she was followed by Delilah three years later, and Charlie in 2021.
