EASTENDERS' Phil Mitchell had viewers in hysterics after requesting "breakfast first" during a police interview.
The gangster (Steve McFadden) finally changed his mind about becoming an informant for DCI Keeble (Alison Newman) instead of serving a life prison sentence.
But Phil couldn't co-operate on an empty stomach which left viewers in stitches.
Keeble began: "Why don't we start with a few names?"
Phil replied: "Breakfast first."
Keeble said: "You can visit any greasy spoon in London when we're done."
Phil insisted: "You ain't getting [intel] until I get my hash browns."
Keeble asked: "Fine. One slice or two?"

Taking to Twitter, fans were amused by Phil's demands as one said: "You ain’t getting it until I get my hash browns. I love Phil."
Another wrote: "Phil must have the upper hand if he's able to demand hash browns."
A third penned: "Phil Mitchell negotiating his release from prison in exchange for hash browns is so #EastEnders".
Ex Sharon (Letitia Dean) managed to convince Phil to change his mind about working for the police after telling him Ben (Max Bowden) as gone off the rails.
