The money was found in Kelly Neelan's dad Rick's floorboards, who Gary murdered, so he gave all of the money to Kelly.

Kelly doesn't want the "blood money" but Gary says she could use it to go to university or buy a house.

Can he change her mind?

However, eagle-eyed fans were distracted by the £20 notes shown as they weren’t printed until after Rick died.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: “So Gary Windass killed Rick 19 Jun 2019 yet the money found in Rick's House was new £20 notes which came out 20 February 2020."

Another wrote: “@itvcorrie it’s interesting how Rick Neelan hid a bag full of new £20 notes before they were released…”

A third penned: “@itvcorrie made a huge continuity error, Rick Neelan died in 2019 and the new £20 note came out in February 2020!

"Where did all those new notes come from after he died?”
