EMMERDALE fans are in shock at Meena Jutla’s prison sentence.
The serial killer - who is played by actress Paige Sandhu in the ITV soap - was found guilty for her three murders last week and then took the court hostage to admit to a further two.
And tonight she discovered her horrifying punishment.
Sitting alone in court, the judge told Meena: “Meena Jutla you have been convicted by jury of the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker.
“Your intention was to kill and you were successful. You killed each of them in the most unexpected and frightful ways. I must now sentence you for those murders.
“Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker were blameless victims. They simply had the misfortune to get in your way.
“A beloved daughter, a beloved mother and a beloved son needlessly killed by you. I have seen no genuine remorse from you.
“You are a manipulative person who’s told many lies and shifted the blame to try and save your own skin. If you weren’t so malignant, you would be pitiful."
“You’re eager to leave a legacy, it is to be forgotten,” he added before sentencing her.
The judge told her: “For the murder of Leanna Cavanagh the only sentence I can pass on you is life imprisonment with a 25 year tariff.

“And for the murder of Ben Tucker I sentence you to life with a minimum of 25 years. You will remain in custody for the rest of your natural life.”
For possibly the first time, Meena was horrified and began screaming as she was dragged back to prison.
Sitting alone in her cell alone with the terrifying sounds of prison surrounding her, Meena was screaming, begging for people not to ignore her.
Fans are devastated Meena is gone for good.
