But Mackenzie, 27, recently admitted that their relationship was not always smooth sailing.

While holding a Q&A session with fans on her Instagram story, one asked: "How did you deal with your husband cheating and try work past it??"

The reality star replied: "Josh and I went through a patch where we took a break and both stepped out in our marriage.

"MTV filmed us both admitting what we had done and only aired his side."

She continued: "Had my husband just went off and cheated while my a** was faithful, I can promise I would've left.

"But I'm honestly happy we went through that time because it only made us realize we are each other's people and now we laugh about it all."

Mackenzie added: "My marriage is happier than most 'picture perfect' marriages I see around me."

FAN BACKLASH

But fans were not enthused by the posts, as one screenshot the comment and re-shared it on

"Mackenzie thinks cheating is such a brag," they wrote alongside the reshare.

Others raced to the comments to rip the TV personality for making light of the situation.

"I don't think it's ever appropriate to laugh about cheating," one remarked.

"She’s in major denial. She keeps trying to force it to work. They both need to move on and just be great co-parents," a second mentioned.

A third wrote sarcastically: "I love that her narrative is 'cheating saved my marriage.'"

"Oh okay, the secret to a good marriage is mutual infidelity. Good to know," another ranted.

"If your marriage is on the rocks, try having him bone your cousin while you give some guy off Tinder a BJ!" a fifth joked.

";Yes, because cheating is funny," a final sneered with an eye roll emoji.

DOTING DAD

Mackenzie and her husband Josh reconciled after their cheating scandal and settled in Florida with their three children.

Despite fans disapproving of their unconventional relationship, the young father recently sparked praise.

In December, the Teen Mom shared a sweet video of her hubby dressed up as a Disney princess for her kids tea party.

The 28-year-old star sported a frilly turquoise dress with white glittery sleeves and a blonde curly wig.

Sharing the clip on TikTok, Josh was spotted sipping on tea alongside daughter Jaxie, eight, and her friend.

Fans were thrilled to see Josh's sweet gesture and raced to social media to compliment the doting father.

One wrote: "This is awesome love that he did this for his daughter."

Another posted: "A memory they will never forget ❤️so cute!"

"That is the best!!! 🥰 Way to go Josh," a third shared.

Another commented: "I adore you and josh! I love seeing this side of him."

OPEN ABOUT MARRIAGE

Last year, Mackenzie shed more light on the highs and lows of her marriage.

The young mom said that she's "glad" she and her husband Josh cheated on each other as it made them "grow stronger".
