Mama June’s daughter Honey Boo Boo, 16, shares romantic ice cream date with boyfriend, 20, amid feud with troubled mom

HONEY Boo Boo isn't letting any tensions with her troubled mom get in the way of her growing romance with an older man.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and boyfriend Dralin Carswell were spotted holding hands and sharing some ice cream as they took a walk near her home in McIntyre, Georgia.

The lovebirds were seen strolling around the city park wearing matching black shorts and black Nike T-Shirts

The 16-year-old “Toddlers & Tiaras” alum has been dating her 20-year-old beau for more than a year, and family members remain uneasy about the age difference.

The Sun broke the news last year that the Mama June: Road to Redemption star was dating an older man.

In a preview for the show's new season, Honey Boo Boo holds Dralin's hand, as family members shared their reservations.

In one particular  Alana could be seen flirting with her boyfriend while holding a football.

The duo later walked while holding hands before sitting down with the family for the reality star's birthday.

Joshua Efird, Honey Boo Boo's brother-in-law, then gave Dralin a speech, saying: "The only thing I ask for is respect and for you to treat her really really good and if you don't man I'm just going to break your neck."

The preview clip followed The Sun breaking the news in August that the teen TV personality was dating a college student.

By then, the child star had been dating Dralin for six months, and according to sources, her sisters approved of the match.

An insider confirmed that the 20-year-old attended a Nashville technical school before the pandemic hit, but now resides in Georgia near Alana and her sister Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Shannon, 21, who is also her legal guardian.

The insider exclusively told The Sun: “Dralin and Alana are attached at the hip and hang out together all the time.” 

Honey Boo Boo’s sisters, including Pumpkin, Jessica, 24, and Anna, 27, also approve of Dralin, too.

The insider continued: “He was quiet at first, but he’s like one of the family now. He's just as fun and crazy as the rest of them.” 

MAMA'S MAN

Meanwhile, Mama June and her boyfriend Justin Stroud have sparked engagement rumors after they were seen shopping for RINGS at an Alabama jewelry store.

The pair stepped out just days after Justin was released from jail.

Things between June, 42, and Justin, 34, appear to be getting serious, as the unlikely pair were recently spotted jewelry shopping at a Kay Jewelers at The Auburn Mall in Auburn, Alabama.

June was seen intently looking at the items in the case - she even tried on a ring at one point.

HAPPY REUNION

The pair sparked engagement rumors just days after Justin was released from jail.

Earlier this month, The Sun exclusively shared photos of June kissing and hugging her man during their emotional reunion following his release.

Justin had been behind held bars for nearly a month after he was arrested in Boca Raton, Florida on a warrant relating to past drug charges.
