THE new series of Britain’s Got Talent is facing its first fix row before the opening show has even aired.
Tomorrow night viewers will see singer Loren Allred, along with a string of other wannabes desperate to hit the big time.
But Loren has actually found major success in the US after singing the anthem Never Enough in global hit movie The Greatest Showman.
She has already released an EP in her home country and has even duetted with singing legends Michael Buble and Andrea Bocelli.
Yet despite spending much of his time in America — and being obsessed with The Greatest Showman — judge Simon Cowell seems oblivious when she walks onstage.

He asks: “Welcome, what’s your name and where are you from?”
When Loren replies she is American he seems surprised, adding: “Is that right? So why Britain’s Got Talent? Tell me a bit about you.”
Loren sang Never Enough but most people may not recognise her face because actress Rebecca Ferguson, playing character Jenny Lind, mimed to her vocals in the hit film of 2017.
Simon bangs on the desk and says: “Oh my God!”
He adds: “So you sang one of the biggest songs of all time. You’ve revealed it wasn’t the actress who sang the song in the movie — it was you singing the song.”

He asks her: “Why didn’t you get that big deal after the song?”
Loren replies: “I was more comfortable singing behind the scenes, but I kinda feel like the song was meant for me and now I’m ready to put a face to the song.”
In fact, Loren has been trying to become a star for over a decade.
Originally from Pittsburgh but now living in New York, the 32-year-old started posting music covers on YouTube when she was in college and was signed to Island Def Jam Music at 19.
She even competed to win a recording contract on the US version of talent show The Voice in 2012, telling the coaches her occupation was “pianist and wedding singer”.
Loren was coached by Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and made it through to the live shows before being knocked out of the contest.
She has performed in televised concerts and last year released the pop track Til I Found You.
A spokeswoman for BGT said: "We are thrilled to back this year and look forward to viewers watching our BGT bumper special on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
"Whilst most people will have heard the infamous Greatest Showman track, Loren is not a household name, and she deserves her spot on the BGT stage.
"We hope that such articles will not count against somebody who is well deserving of this opportunity.
"It’s fantastic that Loren is now able to step out and stand in her own right to be the face, and not just the voice, of one of the most well-known tracks of all time."
Loren said: “Even though I have spent a lot of years in the music industry, people don’t know who I am. Over all these years I’ve been fighting for my chance to be known and to make it.

"The opportunity to sing “Never Enough” evolved from being a session singer in the choir, and even though the song was a big success, people still think that the actress sang it.
"I have never gotten the opportunity to tell my story. That’s never happened for me. I am an unsigned, independent artist still trying to make a name for myself.”
