Towie’s Liam Gatsby and Dani Imbert have split AGAIN – plunging show into MORE chaos
TOWIE'S Liam Gatsby and Dani Imbert have split AGAIN - plunging the ITVBe show into MORE chaos.
The Essex couple have confirmed that they have gone their "separate ways" ahead of filming the new series in June.
The pair, who were at the centre of split rumours last year, have called it quits after spending the last few months apart.
Liam and Dani's pal Ella Rae Wise exclusively told The Sun that she's been Dani's "backbone" since her split.
Ella explained that the couple's decision to separate came as a "shock" to her and the rest of the Towie team.
She told us: " She’s my best friend, I wasn’t expecting it, Dani is the sort of girl that wouldn’t go and air anyone’s business.

"At the end of the day she’s sort of got to think about Liam not just herself.
"So when it all did come out, we were all a little bit shocked."
Ella said she has been supporting her pal during this difficult time and said to not be fooled by the happy pictures on Instagram.
"I’m there for her, I will definitely have her back," she continued.

"I know Liam knows as well, I’m definitely quite mutual in the situation.
"If he needs to talk to anyone, I know he’s got his friends, but I would be there for him too.
"But at the end of the day, Dani is my main priority and girls we stick together, I am definitely her backbone for the minute."
She went on: "She’s [Dani] okay but at the same time Instagram can tell a thousand stories and a thousand lies – so you sort of can’t tell how someone is feeling through social media."
The TV beauty admitted that it will be "awkward" when the pair reunite this summer after months in different countries.
Asked if she thinks the pair could reunite, she added: "Too early to say because we haven’t been filming for so long, they haven’t seen each other in ages.
"So to be honest that would be a good few awkward episodes to watch, they have a lot to talk about."
The pair have since unfollowed each other on social media, with Dani deleting photos of her ex from Instagram.
Liam, 33, also confirmed the news on social media when he was asked during an Instagram Q&A if he was still in a relationship.
He replied: "We went out separate ways. It was the best decision for the both of us. I wish her all the best."
In December, there were reports that the music producer and Dani, 23, had split after they unfollowed each other on social media.
Viewers watched as their relationship was put under the spotlight and the couple were rocked by split rumours earlier this year.
A source told The Sun: "It's not looking good for them.
"Everyone at Towie would be really upset if they're over for good as a lot of people really like Dani."
However, a rep for Liam has said that the pair were still together at the time.
Liam and Dani's blossoming romance was at the centre of last series - as Liam finally asked Dani to be his girlfriend.
The couple confessed their love for each other last June, and looked to be going from strength to strength.
But their romance had been rocked by cheating rumours.
Fellow Towie star Chloe Brockett, 21, was forced to deny kissing Gatsby after Dani threw out accusations on social media.
"I have never in my life kissed Gatsby, ever," Chloe told her fans in an emotional Instagram video.
Last series, fellow co-star Roman Hackett came to blows with his best pal Dani in an explosive finale showdown.
Roman furiously branded Dani a "f***ing joke" and stormed off in row over her relationship with Gatsby.
Tempers flared as Roman asked her: "Have you said to me before you're not happy with Gatsby."
The man in question could only watch on awkwardly as his teary girlfriend replied: "Maybe I've confided in you a bit too much. Maybe it's insecurity, whatever."
That seemed to trigger Roman, who went off in a rage.
He said: "Crack on with your fake relationship, yeah.
"You're a f***ing joke."
MUM'S THE WORD
Liam also revealed that he planned on giving Dani the boot if his mum didn't approve of her once she returned to the UK.
Liam explained his mum is currently living it up in Los Angeles where she's been indulging in fancy luncheons at Beverly Hills.
But when she returns home, she's finally set to meet Dani face-to-face, and if things don't get well, Liam said he's got no problem with pulling the plug on their romance.
"It would be over," he said. "My mum's opinion means so much to me and obviously my mum and my girlfriend, wife, whatever you want to call it, have to get on."
"They have to get on," he added.
