Coronation Street fans horrified as Toyah Battersby takes Imran Habeeb back – but predict a twist

CORONATION Street fans are furious after Toyah Battersby took Imran Habeeb back - and are convinced she is plotting revenge.

The counsellor - who is played by actress Georgia Taylor in the ITV soap - was devastated having had to say goodbye to foster daughter Elsie over Imran’s lies.

But tonight she was shocked when he asked her to take him back and raise his son Alfie with her.

After hours of agonising it looked like Toyah was about to say no.

But after telling Toyah that Abi had relapsed, Imran got the drugs tests back from Abi and came clean to Toyah.

Shocked she said: “She hadn’t relapsed? So you’re still going for custody? Once an addict, always an addict…”

Imran said: “I’m not cutting her out, I want her to be a part of Alfie’s life but it’s best to be cautious. 

“It’s good to know though that you think people can redeem themselves. 

“If you did give me a second chance, I wouldn’t let you down.”

Toyah simply said: “OK then. You, me and Alfie. It’s what I want. You were right - it’s what I’ve always wanted.”

A stunned Imran rushed in for a hug and told her: “You won’t regret this, I love you.”

“I love you too,” Toyah replied, but fans can’t believe what she’s done.

And they are convinced she is plotting revenge against Imran.

One wrote: "I think Toyah is playing Imran and probably gets custody of Alfie."

A second said: "I gope Toyah is playing Imran and that she's going to help Abi, maybe?"

Another added: "I think Toyah is playing him, I don't think she will forgive Imran that easily. She'll try get custody of Alfie herself."
