Emmerdale’s Anthony Quinlan reveals secret to incredible body transformation
EMMERDALE actor Anthony Quinlan has revealed the secret behind his incredible body transformation.
The 37-year-old said he gave up partying, cut down on booze and started working out five times a week to achieve his ripped look.
"I wasn't looking after myself," admits former soap star Anthony.
"I was going out and enjoying the parties - but what young lad wouldn't?
"I started hitting the gym and now if I don't train I don't feel right because of all the endorphins it releases.
"I have probably got a bit of unhealthy obsession in that respect just because it makes me feel so good.

"I like my food so it's all about energy balance. There's so much conflicting evidence out there. People make it a lot more difficult than it needs to be.
"It's about moving a little bit more and being conscious about what we're putting in our bodies.
"Not only do I feel better in myself, I feel more productive and able to attack the day a lot more."
Anthony set soap fans' hearts racing when he posted a video of him shirtless and sweaty after a gruelling Crossfit workout.
Wearing just a pair of shorts and trainers, Anthony revealed his impressive abs.
It came years after learning his craft as a personal trainer.
He now coaches a small client list to offer online support, alongside his business .
Yesterday he revealed he'd lost 5lbs in eight weeks.
"We get some amazing results," says Anthony.

"I don't overly advertise it because I like to keep the client base small and give them more one-to-one focus.
"I'm quite harsh. If you're not doing what I say, you'll get kicked off.
"I don't want to waste their time or for them to waste mine. You've got to give it 100 per cent, and if you do that, you'll get results."
Anthony quit Emmerdale in 2019 to launch - a company that provides plant-based supplements and nutrition to help customers achieve their fitness goals.
He spent two years working on the project - but despite his huge soap profile chose not to put his name to it.
Anthony said: "I didn't want people to think it would be another Z-list celebrity putting their name to a product. I didn't want to cheapen it, if that makes sense.
"Setting the company up started as a way of giving myself some security while working in an industry that doesn't have any.
"Forgive the pun, but it was done to supplement my acting career. I decided to leave Emmerdale to throw myself into the company.
"It wasn't a decision I made lightly, but I'm so glad I did. It's really paid off. It has done far better than I could have ever imagined and it's something I'm really proud of.
"There's a famous saying, isn't there, that if you enjoy your work then it'll never feel like a day's work in your life.
"I'm really fortunate I've got a few industries where I feel most passionate. Acting is my ultimate passion and what I want to do above all else.
"Now I've got the option to pick and choose acting jobs when they come around. I'm definitely not finished with acting."
Anthony played Gilly Roach in Hollyoaks for six years until 2011.
He joined Emmerdale two years later before leaving after 716 episodes as Pete Barton.
The Sun yesterday revealed he's in a relationship with Hollyoaks star Nikki Sanderson.
