FOLLOWING their brutal separation, all hope seemed lost for Chloe Harris and Noah Dingle.
But as the youngsters were seen being friendly once again, Emmerdale's Jessie Elland has teased that there be a darker side to his intentions.
Noah's (played by actor Jack Downham) behaviour with women in the village is becoming a cause for concern.
In recent episodes, the youngster was seen trying to take advantage of Amelia Spencer after learning Chloe had spent the night with Jacob Gallagher.
But during last night's trip to the Dales, Noah tried to lift Chloe's mood after her brief flirt with Nate Robinson, hinting the exes could get back on good terms with one another.
However, while Jessie Elland's character was clearly ready to leave the past behind, Noah remained closed off and an argument soon erupted.

Speaking to , Jessie revealed Chloe is open to a "friendship" with Noah.
"She definitely sees it as a friendship", she said, insisting the young woman does have a soft spot for the Grange attendant.
"It's almost as if she starts to see him in a new light as this is very different to the side she saw in him before when they broke up. She thinks he's turned over a new leaf and is keen to patch up this relationship and be friends with him."
According to Jessie, her character is "so engrossed in everything that's going on with Nate", that she won't be paying attention to Noah's attitude just yet.

"She's enjoying having someone she can chat to about all that and confide in", she said.
Yet Jessie refused to disclose anything else about the future of Chloe and Noah's arc, simply stating the storyline will go "in a very interesting direction."
In her eyes, Noah's evolving storyline around misogyny in Emmerdale is worth some praise.
"It's such a relevant conversation, especially in this day and age, and I think it's really great that stories like that are being taken on", she said.
This wouldn't be the first time Noah's behaviour is troubling as he was also seen stealing from serial killer Meena Jutla.
But how will Noah's behaviour with Chloe really evolve?
