Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry shows major hair makeover as part of glam transformation after Briana DeJesus’ ‘bodyshaming’ dig

KAILYN Lowry has flaunted her fresh hairstyle after facing off with Briana DeJesus and her “body-shaming” comments.

The Teen Mom 2 star recently showed off her major weight loss as she approaches her goal of a full-body transformation.

And now Kailyn, 30, has refreshed her hairstyle and shared a photo of her new do on

The reality star took to the platform on Wednesday to post a snap of her blunt platinum bob.

In the image, the TV personality gazed down at the floor while wearing her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast shirt and tortoise-shell reading glasses.

Kailyn captioned her post: “Fresh hair for my trip .”

SLIMMING DOWN

The new look followed the MTV star debuting her major weight loss late last month.

The mother-of-four showed fans her progress in a tiny crop top after revealing plans for more plastic surgery.

Kailyn posed in a tight yellow tank and black leggings, showcasing her bare belly and slimming waistline.

The controversial star urged fans in the caption: “Run… don’t walk to get these tops from Athleta.”

She has been sharing her progress photos and cluing fans in on her workouts throughout her journey.

BACK UNDER THE KNIFE?

Earlier in March, Kailyn revealed plans to get a breast reduction after completing her weight loss goals.

The young mom posed in a mirror as she prepared to hit the gym, and let fans know in the caption that she plans to have more plastic surgery, this time to make her breasts smaller.

“Once this weight comes off just know I’m getting a breast reduction,” she wrote on one of her Instagram Story slides.

In another, she joked: “Anyone else wear their leggings at their bellybutton or higher,” with several laughing emojis.

BRIANA’S SHADE

Her attempt to shed some pounds comes after fellow Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus, whom she’s been feuding with for years, body-shamed her.

Kailyn received a treadmill as a gift from her co-star nemesis, seemingly taking a dig at the young mom as the pair have been embroiled in a nasty legal battle.

The podcast host sued Briana for defamation in June 2021 after the Florida native alleged that her castmate “physically beat Christopher Lopez, the father-of-two of Lowry’s sons, and broke into and entered the home of Mr Lopez’s mother.”

HEALTH ISSUES

Additionally, the reality star has been vocal about her insecurities surrounding her weight, confessing that she struggled to drop the pounds following her four pregnancies and PCOS diagnosis.

The TV personality opened up to co-host Lindsie Chrisley on their podcast  in a previous episode. 

She said at the time: “I got emotional about the weight gain aspect of it… I’m still in that overwhelmed state of mind. I can’t get a grip on changing my diet because I don’t have an everyday routine…

“I am struggling. I’d be lying if I said I got the diagnosis, and I started right away exactly what I needed to do because I do know what I need to do. It’s not an issue of knowing what I need to do…”

She went on to explain what she doesn’t need is “unsolicited advice,” even if people are just trying to be supportive and helpful.
