Born on January 13, 1981, Ginger Zee has been working for ABC News since 2011 when she started out as the weekend meteorologist on Good Morning America.

She is also a best-selling New York Times author for her book Natural Disaster, according to her personal .

Zee also wrote a follow-up to the award-winning book and series for those between the ages of 8-12 years old. The series is aimed to encourage children to consider a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or STEM.
