EMMERDALE fans are expecting fireworks as Gabby Thomas came close to discovering the truth about Jamie Tate being alive.

The new mum - who is played by actress Rosie Bentham in the ITV soap - clashed with Kim in tonight’s episode over son Thomas’ christening.

Kim was desperate to move it so her granddaughter Millie could attend - with her guardian Hazel insisting she was too ill.

However, Gabby turned up on her doorstep and realised she wasn’t ill - forcing Hazel to bring her.

But after Hazel finally agreed to let Millie attend she began to panic.

Sending Millie to play in the garden, she pulled out her phone and called Jamie desperately, saying: “Jamie we’ve got a big problem."

“Millie’s going to have to go to the Christening tomorrow. Gabby just turned up and saw that she wasn’t ill so keeping her away will just make them more suspicious. 

“I know it’s a mess but I will be with her all of the time. We just have to make sure she doesn’t say anything that will give us away.”

But viewers don’t think she will be able to keep the secret from coming out.

One wrote: "How long before Millie says to Kim or Gabby 'I’ve been with my daddy?'"

Another added: "Millie is definitely gonna let slip that her dad is alive calling it now, or Jamie turns up at the christening tomorrow."

Producer Laura Shaw previously teased the fireworks that will come when Kim learns the truth.

She told The Sun: “Up at Home Farm, we know that Jamie Tate is actually still alive of course. So obviously that information is still to come out.

“Who’s going to find out? What will they do once they know?
