Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani, a massive fan of the Avengers, and in particular Captain Marvel struggles to fit in until she gains her powers.

Kamala is an avid gamer and fan-fiction scribe and is somewhat obsessed with her hero.
She struggles at school and at home but that all changes when she gets superpowers and can harness cosmic energy just like some of her idols.
When is the digital release date for Ms. Marvel?
Ms. Marvel is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 and will be part of Phase Four of the MCU.
The series acts as a journey into the film The Marvels which is set to be released in 2023 in which Vellani will reprise her role as Kamala Khan.
Who is in the Ms. Marvel cast?
Iman Vellani plays the lead role of Kamala Khan and is set to be a staple of the MCU going forwards.

Ms. Marvel will also star Aramis Knight as Kareem, also known as Red Dagger and Saagar Shaikh as Amir Khan, Kamala’s older brother.
Rish Shah plays Kamran, who Kamala has a crush on while her parents are played by Zenobia Shroff (Muneeba) and Mohan Kapur (Yusuf).
Matt Lintz plays Bruno Carrelli, Kamala’s best friend.
In addition, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, Nimra Bucha, Alyy Khan, Alysia Reiner, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat, and Anjali Bhimani have been cast.
Filming for the spectacular miniseries in Thailand came to an end in May 2021 and Marvel fans will finally get to see the show over a year on.
When are the Ms. Marvel episodes released on Disney+?
The first episode is set to air on Wednesday, June 8 and Marvel have confirmed the miniseries will consist of six episodes.
There has been no announcement as to when the remaining five episodes will air, but if it is similar to Moon Knight and Hawkeye then you may expect there to be a weekly dose of Ms. Marvel.

Will Ms. Marvel be on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
As with all new Marvel miniseries on Disney+, Ms. Marvel is exclusive to the Disney streamer and will not be available on other platforms such as Amazon Prime or Netflix.
If you want any chance of seeing this new character in the MCU then you will need to sign up to Disney+.
Disney does offer two months free if you pay for the whole year, making it £79.90/$79.99 for a year of Marvel among a vast array of other content.
That's equivalent to around eight cinema trips but when you think about how there are over 30 MCU films available, it really is a bargain of a deal.
